Blanke Securmat Uncoupling Tile Underlayment - 134.5 Sq Ft Roll
Blanke Securmat is an uncoupling tile underlayment membrane that provides a secure bonding surface for ceramic tile and natural stone floor coverings. Blanke Securmat can be used underneath tile on interior floors and walls. Because of its waterproof properties, Securmat is especially ideal for wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. Securmat also provides superior crack isolation protection on concrete substrates, which will help prevent damage to your tile should your floor move and crack.
Securmat is made of reinforced fiberglass mesh embedded between two layers of polyester fabric. It is light weight, thin, and easy to install. Because it features such a thin, low elevation, it requires much less thinset mortar than most other rolled uncoupling products. The fact that it is so thin doesn't diminish its stength however. In fact, Securmat was given an "extra heavy" rating for high impact use by the Tile Council of North America.
For installation, simply apply a modified thinset mortar with a 1/4" x 5/16" V-notched trowel, and embed Securmat.

ProVa Flex Tile Underlayment - 3 Roll Pack
The ProVa Flex Tile Underlayment 3 Roll Pack features 807 total square feet of underlayment for tile floors. If you are installing tile floors, you will want to use an underlayment. ProVa Flex is an uncoupling membrane that will protect your tile floor covering from moisture and movement. If there is any movement or cracking in your subfloor, ProVa Flex will make sure that the movement or cracking does not transfer to your tile floor covering.
ProVa Flex is suitable for use on a variety of substrates including concrete, plywood, OSB, and more. In addition, ProVa Flex is 1/8" thick, and can be installed with a modified thin set mortar.
